This course provides a comprehensive understanding of the gastrointestinal (GI) system, focusing on the diagnosis and management of common GI disorders. Key topics include gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), peptic ulcer disease, inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), liver diseases, pancreatitis, and gastrointestinal malignancies. Students will learn clinical assessment techniques, diagnostic investigations (endoscopy, imaging, lab tests), and evidence-based treatment approaches.
